stolberg HF-Technik AG started October 2007, but in real practice it is not just a start-up, but kind of a re-start. Most of the long year and well experienced key-employees of ex-Dressler in Stolberg are with stolberg HF-Technik now. Read our story here :
Dressler HF-Technik GmbH was founded in Stolberg 1981 by Ulrich Hansen. The start-up grew nicely from a RF design and low volume supplier to a globally well acknowledged brand name for RF Power Supplies delivered to the Plasma, Solar, Semiconductor and CO2-Laser Industry. In 2003, Advanced Energy Inc. aquired the successful company and operated and grew it as their european Fab. Then it was decided to move the entire production of large volume Dressler brand products to its main Fab in Shenzhen/ China. That was the final "OFF" for the "ex-Dressler"- Fab located in Stolberg in mid 2007.
And it was the self-confident decision by a group of long-year employees - together with Dressler-founder U. Hansen - to switch the key to "ON" again.
They and two more investors decided to start the operation again October 2007 : stolberg HF-Technik AG was born !

stolberg HF-Technik bought the entire Dressler-site assets with all its machinery, manufacturing, engineering and test facilities - all departments are in proven swing and built to the highest standards for the semiconductor and medical industry.
That perfect process proven environment, together with the cumulation of more than 150 years professional experience in RF Power Technology and best practice customer service : that is the new as "old" stolberg HF-Technik AG.

stolberg HF´s 15,000 square-foot facility, located in Stolberg, Germany, features high-volume production lines, state-of-the-art test labs, and modern offices with superior communication technologies and optimized business processes. In stolberg HF´s test laboratory, engineers perform completely computerized (ATE) product testing. Our test stations enable repetitive and accurate product testing, and all test data is stored in a central database for trend tracking and enhanced customer service.

In addition, the test laboratory has two high-temperature burn in rooms that operate continuously. Our products must pass accelerated burn-in at 35°C (95°F) for 48 hours.

stolberg HF-Technik AG is capable to operate and test products with a total RF power of 350kW all around the clock.

ISO 9000 is one thing and not an issue to mention any more today.
